What an unknown world you reveal with such wry humour! But, I'm intrigued to know what made you accept the unwanted invitation to this archaic evening of torture? Obligations to the tutor, the college, yourself; a love of self-flagellation?!

I went to see Lady Brenda Hale talk at college with some mates and we ended up being invited by our old tutor to come for dinner. That was how it happened. 8/10ths swept along for the ride, 2/10ths curiosity - and an extra 1/10th masochism? β˜ΊοΈπŸ‘
